Why is torrent download limited at 2.2mbps






















I've set the download speed to 20MBps (since my internet speed is Mbps) but the download is still limited to 2MBps. I'm probably missing something here, any help would be appreciated.  · uTorrent is limiting internet speed. I've been noticing for the past week or so that my uTorrent speeds have been lower on average. I used to be able to reach MB/s maximum, and now I was barely getting to MB/s and they would drop. Then I noticed that downloads I would make through my browser were also getting lower speeds than average.  · If you can download a torrent on another network (particularly a fast wifi network), then it’s likely that your wifi network is causing the issue. To fix this, tap on Menu, then Settings, then Incoming TCP Port in our app. Look at the TCP Port number, and increment it up by one. For example, if your port number is , make it Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins.


I am only getting 32 Mbps period on this laptop, no more, no less. So, I believe something in the computer is limiting my bandwidth. My upload speed is fine at Mbps, it's just my download speed. Internet bandwidth will be limited to 10 Mbps and that means you can download with maximum 1 MB/s out of 10 MB.
